The Galleria in Edina offers upscale retailers & restaurants at an this indoor mall with a contemporary feel. Fawbush’s, a local women’s apparel store, is one of Suzie Lauer’s favorite places to shop when she comes to town. The Galleria is not far from Shir Tikvah, or a 15 minute drive from the hotels.
Mall of America, the mothership, and Ian and Callum’s favorite place to go when the weather is bad, is a Giant 4-level mall with hundreds of stores, restaurants, a theme park, cinema & aquarium.
Hope Breakfast Bar at The West End in St. Louis Park is delicious.
Bob Lauer’s second favorite Minneapolis breakfast spot, Good Day Café, is across the highway from the hotels.
His favorite spot is Crystal Café on Douglas Drive. An unassuming restaurant in a strip mall with delicious pancakes and no-nonsense wait staff. Crystal Café is a 20 minute drive from the hotel.
Chain of Lakes – great walking paths around Minneapolis’ chain of lakes, located in Uptown with downtown Minneapolis’ skyline as a backdrop. The lakes include Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles and Bde Mka Ska. A round trip walk around each lake is roughly 3 miles.
Hyland Lake Park Reserve - Part of the 2,565-acre "Hyland-Bush-Anderson Lakes Park Reserve" system, Hyland Lake Park Reserve is a scenic retreat in the heart of Bloomington. Hyland Lake Park offers breathtaking prairie landscapes, access to major bodies of water (including Bush Lake and Normandale Lake), a large play area, Richardson Nature Center, Hyland Hills Ski Area, an 18-hole disc golf course and a three-hole disc golf practice area.

contemporary art in a variety of media. Home of the famed spoon and cherry sculpture. The Walker is a mile from our temple, Temple Israel.
The Bakken Museum - 3537 Zenith Ave S, Minneapolis; Museum and education
center for all ages offering exhibits on electricity, Ben Franklin and magnets.
